Up to 20000 homes planned for Turf City including first Bukit Timah HDB flats in almost 40 years 1

First Two Housing Sites in Bukit Timah Turf City Could Yield 700 Homes

Around 700 homes could soon rise on two newly designated residential parcels of land in Bukit Timah Turf City, based on proposed amendments to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) master plan. Situated along Dunearn Road and near the Sixth Avenue MRT station, the development aims to meet the demand for centrally located homes. The larger 2ha site is likely to feature commercial spaces on the first storey, while both plots offer residents access to new amenities and green spaces, with a focus on walkability and easy access to transport.

The site’s proximity to Sixth Avenue MRT, combined with plans for a car-lite and pedestrian-friendly environment, makes it an attractive option for developers. Property analysts estimate that the two plots could accommodate between 600 to 700 condominium units, with speculation that the project might lean toward private housing given the space needed for public housing projects. This marks the beginning of Turf City’s transformation into a vibrant residential hub, with public and private housing developments planned over the next few decades.

In Bukit Timah, UOL’s Watten House is set to offer luxurious living along Dunearn Road. Surrounded by greenery and conveniently located near top schools, Watten House is poised to be a sought-after address for families and professionals seeking both tranquility and accessibility in the prestigious Bukit Timah area.

Another exciting development from UOL is Pinetree Hill, nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Pine Grove. Pinetree Hill features lush landscapes and modern amenities, offering a serene retreat while keeping residents well-connected to key areas like Holland Village and the Buona Vista MRT Interchange.
